Welcome to Support Spirit
Counseling & Therapy
A part of you knows that you can not keep staying stuck in the pain and patterns. That part has brought you here because it is finally time to break free and heal.
Whether you are trying to break patterns, heal core wounds, or rediscover who you are and what you want in life,
You will not do it alone anymore.
What is Support Spirit Counseling & Therapy?
The Name:
The name of the practice reflects how I see my role in therapy. I step in when you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in the same patterns. I walk with you through what hurts, help you make sense of it, and support the work of rebuilding from the inside out.As you gain clarity and strength, my role naturally fades. The goal isn’t dependence. It’s leaving stronger, clearer, and able to stand on your own.
The Space:
Support Spirit Counseling and Therapy is a space set apart from the noise of your daily life.
A pause from the roles, expectations, and survival patterns you’ve been carrying for years. A place to step out of autopilot and look honestly at who you are, how you got here, and what you want to become.
The Therapy:
This isn’t therapy built on quick fixes or endless coping tools. The work goes to the root. We look at how your past shaped you, where it fractured you, and how those patterns still run beneath the surface.
Here, you learn to understand your story without being trapped by it. To repair what still hurts instead of working around it. To move toward a life that fits who you’re becoming, not who you were forced to be.
This isn’t about becoming better.
It’s about becoming real.
The Therapist:
I am Sahebjit “TJ” Singh, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in identity reconstruction, existential pain, and complex trauma. My work goes beyond symptom management.
As a depth specialist, I help people understand the deeper patterns that shape their lives, uncover the parts of themselves that were buried by trauma, and rebuild a stable sense of identity that feels authentic.
My experience working in psych facilities, forensic mental health, and crisis county work has allowed me to develop an empathic and intense presence that sees through even the strongest armors.
I Show up. I Stay. I Support.
Until the work is done.
I am a depth-focused therapist who specializes in identity reconstruction and complex trauma. My style is direct, compassionate, and grounded in real conversation.
Together, we'll explore patterns formed through trauma and life experiences that once protected you but may now be holding you back. This journey requires courage, and leads to genuine transformation.
My approach combines trauma-informed care with IFS, psychodynamic work, existential and relational depth psychology. I track your patterns, your defenses, and the parts of you that show up to protect you, then help you understand and transform them.
Three Phases of Therapy:
1. Construction Phase: Mapping out how you see yourself, others, and the world.
2. Deconstruction Phase: This is where we begin to challenge the beliefs, patterns, and roles that have kept you stuck.
3. Reconstruction Phase: Where we begin to rebuild. Together, we focus on helping you live from a place of clarity, choice, and truth.
This work won’t be easy, and neither is staying in the dark.
How I Work:
Services:
I am a private-pay practice; while I do not accept insurance directly, I’m happy to provide superbills and help you explore whether your plan offers out-of-network reimbursement.
Individual Therapy:
Deep, transformative work for individuals ready to break through what's holding them back.
Couples Therapy:
Rebuilding connection and understanding where distance and conflict have taken root. A space to increase communication skills, deeper understanding of conflict styles, and reconnection with each other.
Collaborative Co-Parenting Counseling Sessions:
a neutral space for separated or divorced parents to strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and build a healthier parenting partnership.
Teen Therapy with Parent Integration/Strategies
I work with teens while keeping parents in the loop through structured updates, optional family sessions, and parenting strategy consults.
Signs to reach out:
> You look like you’re functioning. Holding it together. Doing what’s expected.
Inside, you feel numb, disconnected, and exhausted from carrying yourself this way for so long.> You’ve outgrown the version of you that learned to survive by being strong, reliable, or useful.
Now you’re left wondering who you are without the roles.> You’ve done therapy before. You understand your patterns.
Yet nothing really changed. Different insight. Same cycles.> Your relationships follow the same arc. Intensity. Hope. Distance. Collapse.
Different people. Same ending.> You’re capable, driven, often successful.
And still there’s a quiet emptiness underneath it all. “Is this really it?”> You’re done with surface-level coping and want root-level change with a therapist who will be honest, challenge you, and stay in the uncomfortable work long enough for something real to shift.
Reach out for support AND because you are worth it.
